Brain Activity

This is the funny yet thought provoking work by David Shrigley who is currently exhibiting at the Hayward Gallery at the Southbank Centre. He has a vast collection of illustrations with witty captions, surreal sculptures, and simple animations, all of which are thoroughly entertaining. They also carry a deeper meaning, touching on politics and modern day life, encouraging the viewer to laugh at the stupidness of the human race in a light hearted way.

James Lloyd

Last week I went to the private view of James Lloyd's new exhibition at Browse & Darby in central London. He won the BP portait award in 1997 and is well known for his painting of Paul Smith in the National Portrait Gallery. The current exhibition is on until 8th March.
